Focus on adding bike lanes that connect people to destinations in populated areas within Yolo County or rural areas that are adjacent to existing communities. Pedestrian network improvements would be prioritized in key areas in need of sidewalks, which would be identified based on past pedestrian accidents, and safe routes to schools within residential neighborhoods would be developed (acknowledging that sidewalks are the responsibility of the landowner once installed).
