Restore Riparian Forests. Restore riparian forests and other ecosystems, where appropriate, to enhance carbon storage, protect biodiversity, and expand wildlife corridors and climate migration pathways for native species. Work with landowners to support restoration efforts on Putah and Cache Creeks and their tributaries as well as the mainstream riparian areas and floodplains of the Sacramento River and Yolo Bypass. Reconnect aquatic habitats within forests to help fish and wildlife endure drought and adapt to climate change.
