In 2025, RCD completed 21 acres of prescribed burning within the South Fork Preserve area and a total of 62.5 acres of invasive species removal within County areas of woodland forests and open spaces.

Implement Forest and Woodland Stewardship in County Public Lands. Forest and woodland practices include:

-Fire and fuel load vegetation management
-Enhancement measures designed to benefit forest and woodland plant communities and wildlife
-Invasive species removal

Fire and fuel load vegetation management is conducted through prescribed and cultural burns.
